School Age Childcare (SACC)
Quality School Age Child Care
YWCA offers high-quality, affordable child care, serving children and families for over 50 years. We provide a nurturing, creative space for children to learn and grow.
Quality, Affordable Child Care
We offer low teacher-to-child ratios in all classrooms from caring, qualified professionals.
The YWCA Elgin School Age Child Care (SACC) program offers top-of-the-line care to children in grades Kindergarten through fifth at an affordable price (fees are based on a sliding scale from the Department of Human Services).
In addition to being affordable, we have made it our goal to provide our students with engaging activities, a home away from home, and caring/qualified staff. The School Age Child Care teachers dedicate themselves to the children they serve and respect them as individuals. Our program’s activities are chosen for their ability to enhance each child’s learning experience while allowing them to learn how to interact with other children and adults. Our teachers work closely with our student’s parents to ensure their child is happy in our program.
